for everyone

Come, have a cup of tea. Contemplate the tea`s emerald green, drink the beautiful scenes and feel the rhythm of the Chinese flute accompanied with other Chinese instruments such as dulcimer, pipa. Every melody inspires a vision of a classic poem, and every poem is your cup of tea. Here Chinese flute, er-hu, gu-zheng and female vocal fuse western instruments to lead you to a fantastic state as subtle as tea fragrance.

Chinese say that tea can clean your flesh, bones and spirit. So can this modern presentation of tea melodies composed by Zhang Wei-liang.

Zhang Wei-liang is a well-known Chinese flute player, composer, and scholar, and at present a professor of the China Conservatory of Music. He has won the Best Music Award in international film festivals with his solo performance for the soundtrack recordings of such major films as Ju Dou, Raise the Red Lantern, Farewell My concubine, The Assasin, etc.

Nyeruput teh hangat sembari kongkow-kongkow memandangi lelampuan hamparan Bandung malam hari di Dago Tea House bersama perempuan dari masa lalu, berpegang tangan, berpelukan, berandai-andai soal masa depan sembari mencoba memaafkan kisah masa lalu yang tak tuntas sempurna....
